Weight Filter

The Weight filter allows you to control the trimming of your displayed profiling data based on the total CPU of the frame. Adjusting the threshold will hide all frames below the percentage you select.

With the Weight filter users can declutter the flame graph and easily find frames that are an outlier in terms of CPU time. One can further narrow down the results shown by percentile of infrastructure with frames that have CPU time above the threshold.

• Default Weight Range Definitions

  • All

  • P50 (50th percentile)

  • P25 (25th percentile)

  • P5 (5th percentile)

  • P1 (1st percentile)

Beginners to profiling will find that the Weight filter is a good feature to help overcome the overwhelming amount of data presented.
